Chowka Kannada Movie Review

Chowka, the movie directed by Tharun Sudhir, starred by Prem, Vijay Raghavendra, Dignath, Prajwal Devraj etc had hit the screens here in Sandalwood. The plot of this movie revolves around four people, who have their own dreams and aspirations in life, ends up jail. On the verge of losing hope in life they found a school teacher who gives them hope and also helps them to reform. It is an entertaining thriller, which is the 50th movie of Dwarakish Chithra. This 3 hour long movie never makes you bored inside the cinema hall and it will give a positive message as well to the younger generation while entertaining the viewers.

Screenplay is the biggest positive of this movie. It has multiple narratives and usually it is very difficult to handle such a screenplay. But the director had done a great job by keeping his grip tight on the narration and controlling the pace of the movie according to the situations in the plot. The team behind the film never went for too much of commercial elements and they added what the plot really needed and become successful in making a great entertainer as well.
The casting was apt, as the lead actors played their part to perfection. Artists like Prem and Prajwal Devaraj had done a great job in the movie and we got to see different sides of their acting skill. Darshan’s cameo got great applause and others like Vijay Raghavendra, Diganth, Aindrita Ray, Priyamani, Bhavana, Deepa Sannidhi, Chikkanna, Kashinath, Abirami, Avinash, Tabla Nani, Sharath Lohitashwa, Manvitha Harish, Giri Dwarakish etc also done a very good job in this flick.

The technical side was also brilliant and it had given importance to each and every character in it. That is the main highlight of this multi-starrer. It will never disappoint you. It is a class entertainer and in one sense we can call it as the Rang De Basanti of Sandalwood.
